Elphelt Valentine (Guilty Gear - Strive -)

I was SO EXCITED when she got announced(leaked) for Strive!!

It's been a hot minute since I've drawn anything full, and I switched my sketching brushes not too long ago. I feel like that really opened the way for trying new stuff! This is my first piece that used cel shading!

Compared to the last piece's ~100 layers, this one was around 200... But I always use a lot more layers with unfamiliar designs or techniches. But anyway, I'm in love with her.

Elidibus (FFXIV)

Elidibus is one of my favorite characters in FFXIV. Funnily enough, I was intending to make a minecraft skin but then I ended up sketching this.

I've been enjoying low saturation stuff lately! It's good for capturing different feelings I don't usually put in pieces. Not much thought went into this one. I did the lineart, rendering and all that all in one night.

This is also a record low for layer counts! I didn't even hit 100. But still, I LOVE how this turned out. I love Elidibus lol

Yotsuyu goe Brutus (FFXIV)

I found a song not too long ago, Brutus by The Buttress.

I thought the sound sounded really good, so I was more than glad to listen to it on loop for a while. Then, it suddenly clicked how much this song makes me think of Yotsuyu, and that's when I imagined this piece.

It doesn't really read, I don't think, but I highlighted her hair to make it resemble Tuskuyomi's! I also had tons of fun messing with dilters I haven't used in a while.

Luneth, Arc, Refia, & Ingus (FFIII)

It took me some time to figure out how I want to draw these four! There's definitely messy spots to this, but I'm proud of the fact that I managed to draw four characters in one drawing without running out of stamina.

The background could be better, but I think I did well for not usually doing backgrounds like this. I used a screenshot of Kazus as reference, I really just wanted something that would make sense for the crates to be there.

I think the kids turned out super cute! Their freelancer outfits are always fun to draw.

Just a quick sketch I did of Alus. I just allowed myself to be messy with this sketch.

Alus is one of my favorites in aside from the main four in FFIII, I think. I feel so bad for him, really. Poor kid...

Asuka R# (Guilty Gear - Strive - )

I originally just wanted to do a one-off sketch of Asuka after trying him out in strive. But alas, I ended up going all the way on this one.

I think that, since I worked on this one in such a short span of time, it could definitely be better. But, I still do love how it turned out. I just allowed myself to fiddle around with textures and crazy overlays again without a worry of it looking "right."

Aria Benett (FFIII)

FFIII grabbed me by the brainstem as soon as I started playing it. It's the cutest game on the planet, and I just got enthralled. Thanks to the buddy who introduced me to it!! (You know who you are!!!)

Anyway, I'm surprised Aria ended up being the first character to get a full-on piece. She's so sweet, though. I really love her character, she's got good presence even for the short time she's in your party. A very mysterious little lady, love her.

Ayaka & Y'shtola (FFXIV)

It wouldn't be my gallery if I didn't put gay catgirls on here, right?

I got inspired for this one just because I saw a REALLY GOOD reference photo from Adorkastock. I cannot find the original reference for the life of me, but if I do, I'll link it here!

Ayaka and Y'shtola have my whole heart and then some... they're such a fun opposites attract dynamic, I think. Y'shtola most definitely brings out a softer side of Ayaka, and Ayaka is able to make Y'shtola get all affectionate. They sort of have an effect on each other, I suppose.

COMMISSION Amicia & Hugo (A Plague Tale)

This was a commission for my brother! He decided to challenge me with the background, which I am actually super proud of! (Just LOOK at that chain in the background!!!)

This game isn't my stomping ground, but I've seen bits and pieces of it. It's a pretty game, and even with hardly seeing most of it the ending still managed to make me tear up.

Nophica (FFXIV)

This is an older one and I really didn't have much thought going in, but I think it still holds up!

I loved running Euphrosyne when it came out, and Nophica's design stood out to me. Her hair HAD to be my favorite part to render, even if this was one of my symmetrical pieces.
